Self-Adhesive Uncoupling Membrane for Tile Floors
MAXKOSKO Self-Adhesive Uncoupling Membrane combines peel-and-stick installation with anti-crack protection, waterproofing support, and stable tile bonding.
The pressure-sensitive adhesive backing attaches directly to a properly prepared subfloor, eliminating the thin-set mortar layer normally required beneath a traditional uncoupling membrane. After the membrane is installed, apply suitable thin-set mortar over the dimpled surface and install the tile.
Designed for bathrooms, kitchens, basements, entryways, and other interior tile projects, it helps reduce stress transfer between the subfloor and tile covering while simplifying floor preparation.

Mortar Requirements: No thin-set mortar is required beneath the membrane. Compatible thin-set mortar is still required above the membrane to install the tile.
Waterproof Installation: Seams, corners, edges, penetrations, and floor-to-wall transitions must be properly sealed when a complete waterproof assembly is required.
Structural Limitations: The membrane does not repair excessive floor deflection, unstable framing, loose subfloor panels, or major structural cracks.
