The compact plug-in thermostat requires no wiring, programming, app, or temperature adjustment. Simply plug the controller into a suitable outlet, then connect a compatible heating device to the controlled receptacle.

This standard plug-style version is ideal when the outlet has enough clearance for the adapter. For tight outdoor outlet covers or more flexible plug placement, choose the slim temperature controlled extension cord version instead.

  • What is the maximum wattage that this plug can handle? I want to plug in a 1200 watt ceramic heater in a well pump house.

    Yes, up to 1500 Watts. It also allows the cable to energize below 38°F and to turn off automatically at about 50°F. 

  • Can this be used outside to turn heating cables on? The info says "Only for dry location." and outdoors is wet!

    It is damp out there. You can use a thin plastic bag around it and seal the ends up.
