12V DC Cut-to-Length Self-Regulating Pipe Heating Cable
MAXKOSKO 12V DC Pipe Heating Cable provides low-voltage freeze protection for RVs, campers, boats, battery-powered plumbing, off-grid water systems, and other locations where 120V household power is unavailable.
The cable delivers approximately 5W/ft at 50°F (10°C), automatically adjusts its heat output according to temperature, and can be trimmed to the required length when the cut end is properly sealed with the included waterproof end-seal kit.

Important Before Ordering
12V DC Power Only
Do Not Connect to 120V AC: This cable is designed only for compatible 12V DC electrical systems. Connecting it to household voltage will damage the product and create a serious safety hazard.
Power Source Not Included: A 12V battery, DC power supply, switch, fuse, wiring, and battery-management equipment are not included.
120V Controller Is Not Compatible: Do not use the MAXKOSKO 120V Thermostat Controller with this product.
Calculate Electrical Load: Confirm the selected cable length, total current demand, fuse rating, wire gauge, battery capacity, and expected operating time before installation.
Self-Regulating Is Not Auto-Off: The cable adjusts heat output but does not completely shut itself off. Use a compatible 12V switch, thermostat, relay, or power-management system.
Seal Every Cut End: Never energize the cable after cutting until the exposed end has been completely sealed with the supplied waterproof end-seal components.
Pipe Insulation Required: Cover the pipe and cable with suitable insulation after installation to improve freeze protection and reduce battery use.

- Clean and dry the outside of the pipe before installation.
- Route the cable in a straight line, spiral pattern, or approved overlapping configuration.
- Secure the cable approximately every 12 inches using aluminum foil tape or suitable ties.
- Cut the cable only at the required end location.
- Install the waterproof end seal completely before connecting power.
- Cover the pipe and cable with suitable insulation.
- Connect the red and black leads to the correct 12V DC polarity.
- Install appropriate fuse and overcurrent protection for the selected cable length.
- Test the complete system before winter use.

Can this cable plug into a household outlet?

Can I use the MAXKOSKO 120V thermostat controller?
